What information we collect

When you send an enquiry through our website we collect:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your phone number
  • the site postcode or location
  • the details you give us about your project

If you phone or email us directly, we collect the information you choose to give us. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies on this website.

How we use your information

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange site visits and, if you become a customer, to carry out the work and keep the records we are required to keep.

We do not use your details for marketing, and we never sell or pass them to anyone else for their marketing.

Our legal basis

We use your information because it is in our legitimate interests to respond to enquiries you send us, and because you have asked us to take steps before entering into a contract, such as providing a quote. If you become a customer, we use it to carry out our contract with you and to meet our legal obligations, such as keeping tax records.

Who we share it with

Our website and its enquiry form are provided by Webflow, and our email is provided by Google. Both handle information on our behalf, and their servers may be outside the UK, in which case appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information.

If you become a customer, we may share relevant details with subcontractors or suppliers only where needed to carry out your work. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 2 years. If you become a customer, we keep your records for 6 years after the work is finished, as required for tax and legal purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct anything that is wrong
  • ask us to delete your information
  • object to or restrict how we use it

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
